The NIEC and DFES Educational Review Correspondence
On Monday 30th April 2007 the NIEC submitted a letter along with 2011 signatures to the Rt Hon. Alan Johnson, the then Secretary of State for Education and Skills. This was the initial communication between the NIEC and the DFES with respect to our Educational Review Proposal for the National Curriculum to be inclusive of Black History and the contributions of African peoples to World Civilisation.
