Towards a new educational paradigm
National Independent Education Coalition
A seminar for members of the teaching and care professions including:
Parents, Teachers, Headteachers, Lecturers, School Governors
Home Tutors, Child Minders and Youth Workers
This Seminar follows the very successful Stop Blaming the Children Conference of October 2006. Since that time the NIEC has continued planning and organising towards raising achievement through networking and partnerships with parents, education orientated organisations and professionals. It is our aim through a continued sharing of ideas, methods and programmes, that effective change can be realised within all spheres of education. The Striving for Excellence Seminar will provide attendees with examples of where and how this is being achieved and indeed programmes that can be taken into the learning environment.
Effective practice towards the Every Child Matters agenda.
Delivering Cultural Diversity through the National Curriculum.
Good practice and successful complementary and alternative educational services.
Developing relationships with community organisations.
Employing successful models of education from overseas.
